      the material is very light weight and when i put it together it leaned to one side no matter how tight i made the screws. i had wanted to put it in foyer next to kitchen to put cookbooks on top and recycling bin below. nothing doing--the whole thing fell over in half an hour. knew it was a bad idea when i saw it leaning, but i was able to bend the legs out a little so they splayed open to increase the base of support. too flimsy, though cute.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
