Ameriwood warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect. This warranty covers one year from the date of original purchase. This is solely limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts and no assembly labor is included. This warranty does not apply to any product which has been improperly assembled, subjected to misuse or abuse or which has been altered or repaired in any way. Liability for consequential damages is excluded to the extent exclusion is permitted by law. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additional warranty rights may be provided by law in some areas. To obtain warranty service, purchaser must present original bill of sale. Components repaired or replaced are warranted through the remainder of the original warranty period only. I ordered this piece to help add storage to a small guest bathroom. It's perfect for this. [...] although it has many parts(well marked), my husband and I were able to assemble it in about an hour. Everything about it is fine except the cabinet backing is cardboard. However since no one really sees this it was not a big issue for us.

I knew this product would not be solid wood(as refered to under the specs) but I expected much better quality. Not only is the partical board very soft and poor quality, the cam locks and drawer brackets are plastic! The cam locs are silver plastic rather then metal with a bronze color which would improve the look and durability. I have purchased at least 10 cabinets that were partical board over the last 10 years and I know what to expect. This is not it! The color of the cabinet is like shoe polish versus veneer [...]making it look like a used piece. The door hinges are a differant color then the hardware. The drawer is very flimsy and there is no way to adjust it with the brackets supplied. In addition there were several parts missing and I was not going to wait to have them shipped. I did install the unit with a lot of additional reinforcment and glue but plan on doing something in the future to replace it. Other then this cabinet being close to the picture there is nothing about this product that I could honestly recommend. Buyer beware!
